Chain Crash Caused by DUI Drink Driving Man

Guadalupe Carbajal, 35, caused a chain-reaction crash that resulted in seriously injuring a pedestrian couple in their 60s, News 3 reports.

The suspect was driving a 2007 GMC Yukon westbound when he failed to stop behind two vehicles which were stopped at a red light.

Carbajal rear-ended a 2009 Jeep Wrangler which then hit a 2007 Chrysler 300, shoving it into the crosswalk and into Kathleen and David Like.

The Likes suffered several broken bones and were transported to hospital in a severe condition.

The driver of the Chrysler, Ronald Hawes, suffered minor injuries while the driver of the Jeep Wrangler was uninjured.

Carbajal failed sobriety tests and was arrested for DUI Drink Driving resulting in substantial bodily harm.
