Man Drug Driving Around with Meth

William Danny Carpenter, 70, was arrested at a traffic stop for Drug Driving and Dangerous Driving on Wednesday, Live5News reports.

A deputy reported stopping Carpenter on Pleasant Hill Drive due to his Dangerous Driving. He suspected the driver to be Drug Driving on an unknown substance. Tests showed that he was impaired and he was later arrested for Drug Driving.

Police investigations showed that Carpenter was under the influence of methamphetamine. Further investigation of the vehicle led officials to find some foreign substances and objects which raised suspicion to the possibility of a mobile meth lab.

Carpenter’s vehicle was secured for further investigation but it was found that it was not a mobile meth lab but illegal drugs along with paraphernalia and other controlled substances were discovered in the vehicle.

Carpenter has been charged with possession of illegal drugs and controlled substances, possession of drug paraphernalia, and Drug Driving.
