DUI Drink Driving Man Tries to Evade Police with Flat Tyre

Damar K. Jordan, 33, was arrested following an Evade Police chase before crashing into a line of cars stopped at a red light, NJ reports.

Police reported that Jordan was driving with a blown-out right front tyre when he caught the attention of an officer.

The officer noted small chunks of the tyre flying into the air as the vehicle passed a high school. Reports showed that the DUI Drink Driving man continued to Evade Police even after the officer activated his lights and siren in an attempt to pull over the vehicle.

Police stated in a news release that the remaining rubber fell off and the vehicle continued riding only on the rim.

Jordan crashed his vehicle into a line of cars that were stopped at a red light on Route 1 and East Milton Street, police reported. Soon after, the vehicle started smoking.

Officers removed Jordan from the vehicle and arrested him on the spot.

Jordan currently faces multiple charges including DUI Drink Driving, Evade Police, assault by auto, driving while suspended, Dangerous Driving, failure to observe traffic signal, failure to maintain a lane, failure to signal, improper passing, speeding, and having an unsafe vehicle.
