DUI Drink Driving Woman in Fatal Crash

ABC7News reports that Carmen Venegas, 44, was arrested following a two-vehicle crash that left another woman dead on U.S. Highway 101 on Monday.

Officers report that a blue Toyota Scion crashed into the center divider. Following the incident, a red Acura struck the Toyota.

The woman behind the wheel of the Scion was pronounced dead at the scene. Venegas is under suspicion of DUI Drink Driving. Police are awaiting toxicology results.

Venegas, the driver of the Acura, suffered minor injuries and was taken to Regional Medical Center.

Venegas was arrested on DUI Drink Driving and vehicular manslaughter charges.
