Justin Scott, 23, is charged with multiple charges after allegedly refusing to pull over for police Friday night, Newstalk1010 reports.
Ontario Provincial Police were conducting a speed trap at 10 p.m. when they first tried to pull over the vehicle.
According to officials, the driver took off but crashed his car into a ditch about one minute later.
Scott was not injured in the crash but needed to be extricated from the vehicle.
Scott is charged with Evade Police, Dangerous Driving, stunt driving, and driving under suspension.
Scott is due in court on September 25th.

A penalty unit in Queensland is currently worth $113.85.
In addition to the above penalties, anyone who pleads or is found guilty in the Magistrates Court must pay the Offender Levy, which is presently worth $110.90.
Magistrates have a general power to impose up to a lifetime driver’s licence disqualification, above and beyond any legislated disqualification ranges.
