As reported by NYMag, 48 year old American man Danny Mitchell recently copped a DUI Drink Driving charge after crashing his electric 'Rascal 300' mobility scooter into an SUV at his local supermarket.

When questioned, Mr Mitchell told Police that he had run out of his sedative medication 'so I had me a drink'.

Mr Mitchell confessed to consuming at least a 'pint of alcohol'.

Mr Mitchell threw up what witnesses described as 'clearly fake gang signs', while chanting words to the effect of 'turn down for what', 'yeah' and 'okay'.

The Rascal 300 was impounded and Mr Mitchel awaits sentence.
