DUI Drink Driving Mother Puts Kids in Danger

Even a mother’s instinct can be dumbed down when she is DUI Drink Driving. A 29-year-old mum from Brigham City in Utah rolled her car twice on Interstate 15, KUTV reports.

The mother had minor injuries and was already released from the hospital. Her 2-year-old girl was ejected from the car but didn’t sustain any major injury. She was in a car seat. Her 7-year-old boy was in a booster seat and didn’t have any serious injuries either.

According to Utah Highway Lt. Lee Perry, the woman was traveling southbound on Friday night when she swerved to the right and went off the right shoulder. The car then rolled twice before its right rear side hit a concrete wall.

The mum had to be extricated from the vehicle and flown by a helicopter to Ogden Regional Medical Center. The two children were brought to Brigham City hospital where they were examined and cleared.

Aside from putting her kids in harm’s way, the mother’s Dangerous Driving resulted in being charged with DUI Drink Driving and improper lane travel. She was booked into Box Elder County Jail.
