As reported by CTV News, a Dangerous Driving motorcyclist attempted to Evade Police recently by leading Cops on a movie stunt scene style Police chase through a suburban shopping mall.
The motorcyclist, who even raced down an escalator, was eventually intercepted by Police.
Fortunately, no shoppers collided with the motorbike.
The motorcyclist pled guilty today.
The matter had been adjourned for a seperate hearing of a motorbike forfeiture application.
Dangerous Driving in Queensland carries a maximum penalty of a lifetime loss of licence, 3 years imprisonment and 200 penalty units.
Queenslanders charged with Evade Police face a maximum penalty of 3 years imprisonment, 200 penalty units and a lifetime licence disqualification.
A penalty unit in Queensland is currently worth $113.85.
Both Evade Police and Dangerous Driving are serious charges.
